Is there a list of Genesys products/applications that require Java and a listing of the highest compatible version of Java supported by the product/application on each released version?
Hello,
I'm working on a vulnerability management program with our current Genesys Contact Center setup and was curious if there is some kind of product information section on this site that will list off all of the Genesys Apps that require Java, as well as what the most recent version of Java they are compatible with.
For example:
Genesys WFM version 8.5.x requires Java and will work with the latest version of java available.
Genesys Frontline Advisors version 8.5.x requires Java and will work with Java 1.7.0_141 / 1.8.0_151, but not the most recent versions as known issues have been reported.
Seems like a long shot as this information isn't appearing in any searches I've been running. If this type of information was curated and kept up to date, it could assist information security analysts in preparing exception lists for their vulnerability scans and provide a single static resource to be used for tracking this information rather than potentially opening a support case with this as a question.
Thanks in advance,
- Shea

For anybody wondering:

Note to Genesys Support, if you're looking at these posts. This does not show up with a friendly name in the Knowledge search. It may be helpful to force a better result title instead of "System:SOE:Java:Current". Thank you.
